Three days before my surgery, my friend Roni called.
"I heard you're going under the knife," he said. "Don't."
Roni had suffered the same thing — two herniated discs, couldn't walk. His doctor said the exact same thing: surgery or wheelchair.
"So what did you do?"
"I met my cousin at my father's memorial. He's a US Army doctor in Germany. He looked at me and said: 'You don't need surgery. You need what we give soldiers.'"
My heart started racing.
"The military uses red light therapy belts for injured soldiers — back injuries, knee injuries, shoulders. They don't do surgery unless absolutely necessary. Too risky, too much downtime."
"He told me about this German belt called LumiPulse — 120 medical-grade LEDs that penetrate deep into tissue and trigger cellular repair.
"Within 6 weeks, my pain dropped 80%. Within 3 months, I was running. I work construction now. No surgery. Nothing."
He sent me a link.
"This is what saved me."
